Save time by replacing your engine components on time

Prevention is better than cure. That is why we strongly believe in preventative engine maintenance. Well-timed maintenance increases performance and reduces the risk of failure. But in the unfortunate event of a timing belt rupture, blown gasket or broken piston: don’t panic! Our team’s got you covered with extensive technical know-how. Even more good news: during March, we give a special discount of 10%* on 7 vital engine component categories, if you buy a minimum amount of 200 euros

ENGINE PISTON - ENGINE BEARING - ENGINE PISTON RINGS - ENGINE VALVE - ENGINE CYLINDER LINER - PISTON PIN - ENGINE TIMING

We keep the heart of that machine going.

*Discount valid from 4th to 29th March, upon minimum purchase of €200, of one or more engine components from the seven product categories mentioned above.

Engine_timing

ENGINE TIMING

Proper engine timing is vital to ensure the fuel mixture ignition happens at the right time. In case the timing is off, the engine will not run smoothly. Symptoms of bad engine timing include knocking sounds, overheating, low power, increased fuel consumption or trouble starting the engine.

Engine_bearing

ENGINE BEARING

One of the main obstacles to moving parts to attain efficiency is friction. To facilitate the movement of those parts, bearings are used. They reduce friction between different parts by reducing the freedom of movement, so they only move according to their intended purpose. This also helps reduce excessive noise.

Engine_piston

ENGINE PISTON

At the heart of the internal combustion engine lies one of its most critical components - the piston. It facilitates the conversion of fuel into mechanical energy, and its reciprocating motion is what drives the machine. No piston, no power transfer.

Piston_rings

PISTON RINGS

There are two main types of piston ring, compression rings and oil control rings. The primary function of a compression ring is to seal the combustion chamber, preventing gases from leaking into the crankcase. Oil control rings, however, manage the distribution of oil on the cylinder walls. Together, these rings help transfer heat and reduce friction between the piston and the cylinder.

Engine_valve

ENGINE VALVE

The engine valve’s movements open and close the combustion chamber. The intake valves regulate the air or air/fuel mixture intake while the exhaust valves open en close for the exhaust gases.

Cylinder_liner

CYLINDER LINER

An engine cylinder liner is a cylindrical metal sleeve that fits inside the bore of the engine block, providing a smooth and durable surface for the piston to move within. Liners serve to protect the engine's cylinder walls from degradation and contribute to efficient heat dissipation, helping to ensure optimal engine temperature.

Piston_pin

PISTON PIN

A piston pin, also known as a wrist pin or gudgeon pin, is a cylindrical metal rod that connects the piston to the connecting rod. This linkage enables the conversion of the piston's reciprocating motion into the rotational motion of the crankshaft. As well as supporting movement of the piston, the piston pin helps to reduce friction by rotating within the connecting rod's small end, and also helps transmit forces during the combustion process.
