Parts specialist TVH takes a digital leap forward with the Digital Business Analyst course. Twenty employees took the postgraduate course in the past year. The programme, which focuses on digital transformation and is for TVH employees only, was offered in collaboration with the Vives Business School in Bruges. After presenting their elaborate business case, the graduates received their diplomas at an official graduation ceremony last Monday.

The Waregem-based company has a growing need for digital talents. Joeri De Waele, Chief Growth Officer, is very well aware of the importance of digital transformation to the employees: "There's no denying it: our society is growing more digital by the day. And that applies also to TVH, as no less than 86% of our customers order online. An optimum digital customer experience is crucial. For that reason, and to support our colleagues in their digital reasoning, we started the partnership between Vives Business School (Bruges) and TVH last year."

NEW BATCH

This year too, a new batch of employees started the course Digital Business Analyst. Thanks to this programme, they can contribute to the company's digital transformation once they finish the course. They then play a vital role in the further digitalisation of their department. By retraining them to become true digital experts, TVH is working to improve its digital customer experience.

Peter Geiregat, Chief People Officer: "We very strongly believe in the growth of our own employees. So, we are happy to invest in further training for our people. This shows how much TVH values training. Our motto is: 'TVH keeps you going and growing'. Of course, we also look for external profiles, as there are 250 vacancies online, but by focusing on upskilling our own staff, we keep the experience in the company. The amount of time invested by our employees in this training is proof of their tremendous motivation."
