TVHU’s Parts Professional Virtual Class takes place over three days, and covers a wide range of informative and relevant topics for anyone working in the Material Handling Industry. The overall goal of the course is to give students a basic understanding of how parts work within a forklift. Just some of the topics discussed include truck and carriage classifications, model and serial numbers of major OEMs, and the latest news from across the industry. We even walk through how to use Xpart (TVH's research tool), cover some tips and tricks to run a successful parts department, and much more! Going from a hands on, in-person, educational environment to a virtual and digital one was not an easy challenge to overcome, but had to be done none the less.
