- Engineers who maintain and repair internal combustion engines.
- Engineers who perform diagnostics on machines with internal combustion engines.
Prior knowledge:
- Prior knowledge of new diesel technology is required, in particular knowledge of common rail diesel engines.
Learning objectives & Content:
- How does the combustion process work in a diesel engine?
- How are harmful emissions already being reduced by improving internal systems?
- How does an EGR system work?
- What is a Diesel Oxidation Catalyst and how does it work?
- What is a Diesel Particle Filter and how does it work?
- What is Selective Catalyst Reduction and how does it work?
Purpose of the training:
- Understand how emission enhancement systems work and how to use them.
Course duration and location:
- One and a half hours, via Google Meet
Practical arrangements:
- We recommend having a Google account and using Google Chrome.
- Each participant must be registered, even if several people follow on one PC.
