TVH Has Gone Solar!

TVH knows that our actions have a lasting impact on the environment around us. In an effort to become more eco-friendly, we have installed solar panels on our new 250,000 square foot warehouse expansion at our Olathe, KS headquarters.

These solar panels will not only significantly reduce electrical costs, but will also reduce the negative impact TVH will have on the environment. In the first year, TVH projects a CO2 emission reduction of nearly 3,495,000 lbs. Over the next 25 years, TVH’s projected reduction in CO2 emissions is estimated to be over 79,000,000 lbs, significantly reducing greenhouse gas emissions while improving the quality of life and environmental standards in our community.

The initiative to use sustainable technologies and products to help the environment is not a new one at TVH. The company routinely has made choices to be a good corporate citizen and to lessen our impact on the environment. Throughout our different locations in the Americas, TVH has incorporated a variety green processes, such as recycling, using eco-friendly materials when possible, lighting programs and employee gardens to help reduce unnecessary waste and create a healthy environment for our employees.

We know our customers are concerned with their environmental impact as well. In order to meet the growing demand for more environmentally friendly options, TVH has expanded its product offering to include a wide variety of eco-friendly products including a large offering of reconditioned parts, available for many different makes and models.
