Sweep Your Worries Away

Keeping a job site or warehouse clean is no easy task. Starting from the ground up can keep things moving along smoothly. Sweeper scrubbers are the most widely used machine to clean large and medium jobs. However, the machines, especially the brush and broom, take a pounding to make sure everything is in tip-top shape. When the brushes and brooms need replacing, TVH is your one-stop-shop with over 2,000 different brushes and brooms in a variety of styles and materials.

When assessing which broom or brush might be needed, the conditions of the job performed should be the main determining factor. Brooms are used for jobs with loose debris, which is easily swept up. The side broom is circular and throws debris in front of the sweeper for the main broom to pick up. The main broom has spiral rows of bristles to increase vacuum efficiency and improve pickup characteristics by placing the bristles on the floor at all times. The number of rows of bristles makes a difference as well. The single row is meant for fine debris with no bulky items. While the double row is more versatile, allowing the collection of fine debris along with trapping bulkier items. The patrol brush allows for high-speed sweeping in large areas while collecting medium to large debris items. The bristles can be formed from ten different types of materials. However, some materials like Proex are better for sweeping brooms, while other materials like Poly are better for scrubbing brushes.

Brushes are used for jobs where stuck-on dirt and debris needs to be loosened. The side scrubber has dense and stiff bristles allowing the brush to agitate and loosen debris from the ground. The main scrubber has short, thick bristles that remove dirt and debris from the ground by agitation. Choosing the correct part will allow for an effective and efficient cleaning job.

No matter what job site or warehouse you need to keep clean, TVH is your go-to for all sweeper scrubber parts and accessories. Contact your sales representative today to learn more.
