Recently, we presented Operation Homefront with a donation check from a fundraising event held earlier this year. Employees throughout our US locations raised money with a Fourth of July themed t-shirt fundraiser for Operation Homefront, an organization that supports active and retired military families in many different ways. With a company match, we were able to donate $7,202 to the organization. Some of our own veterans, including Kory Tinsley, Tom Cole, Jim Dunnivan, Robert Wooton and Emil Trybom, presented AJ Kahn, a representative from Operation Homefront, with the check.
"All I can say is wow! I was truly surprised by how well the fundraising went. I had no idea that we would do so well. This was a great show of support that we, as a company, have for our Veterans. I'm very proud to be part of the TVH family. Everyone at TVH should have great pride in being part of something that really helps our Veterans. I look forward to seeing what else we can do," commented Jim Dunnivan, Product Manager from Olathe, KS.
“This is just one of the many ways that TVH and its employees give back to the surrounding communities. It was great to see the employees come together for such an admirable cause. You could tell this cause and the organization benefiting from the fundraiser meant something to them. They were excited, eager and not to mention generous, with their donations,” commented Simon Witdouck, Senior Vice President.
A big part of TVH's company culture is its commitment to giving back to local communities and organizations. TVH is proud to be a part of something that makes such a big impact in the lives of others.
