OUR REPAIR PROCESS

Repairs are performed to the highest possible standards and following a strict procedure:

You send us your part. When we collect the part it is allocated to an expert technician.
The technician disassembles the part and does a technical evaluation. He lists all (spare) parts that need to be replaced. If wanted, the customer can get a quote.
A root cause analysis is done to determine the performance of the part.
All failed, weakened and historically failed components are replaced with high-quality items.
Mechanical parts undergo a thorough cleaning.
All remanufactured parts are subjected to rigorous testing.
In case you want this, the part gets a new paint layer in the paintshop.
And finally, the repaired part is prepped for packing and will be sent back to you.

At TVH we have two teams dedicated to repairing parts, our own electronics lab and a workshop specialised in mechanics, hydraulics and electric motors.

TVH’s electronics department was founded in 1995. In these two decennia, there was a lot of change and growth within this department. What started as a small division has evolved into a bustling department with more than 120 colleagues. Today TVH's electronics department is without any doubt the largest, best equipped and most diverse service centre for electronic parts. Our team repairs a wide scope of electronic parts: printed circuit boards, joysticks, battery chargers, directional switches, displays, contactors, accelerators, motor controllers …

Meet the workshop team

Since the start of TVH, we offer a repair service for mechanical and hydraulic parts and electro motors. In recent years, our technical activities increased significantly, which led us to set up a completely new workshop in early 2017. In this workshop we provided the necessary devices and equipment to repair the most diverse components such as electric motors, gearboxes, hydraulics (pumps, valves, orbitrols ..), transmissions and steering axles.

OUR TEST INFRASTRUCTURE

Your business deserves the best. To remanufacture and repair parts, it’s crucial to have the right tools at hand. The most important tools in both our departments are our top-quality test benches. Drawing on years of experience, we created those innovative testing procedures ourselves and are constantly working on their further development. The test benches allow us to accurately detect faults or defects since their diagnoses are always comprehensive and correct. Because of this, each repaired and remanufactured part that has been tested is always of high quality.

We also collaborate closely with colleges and universities to ensure your remanufactured and repaired parts are tested with the best technology possible. For the majority of repairs, we provide a test report along with them.

OUR PAINT SHOP

You can choose to have your part repainted after repair. Our team will remove the old paint layer in a specific sandblasting booth. Then the part will be cleaned and coated with a new paint layer. Depending on the part, the exact colour is programmed. After application of the correct paint layer, the parts are dried to be then packed and protected from damage to paint or sealing surfaces.
