The Hub, the new main office of parts specialist TVH in Waregem, has won the Facility Award 2022 in the category 'Project of the Year'. This award is presented by Belgian Facility Association belfa and honours the most innovative facility projects in Belgium. TVH was nominated along with six other projects and eventually won the prestigious award.
Luc Rasschaert (Director Facilities) accepted the award: "Winning this award is a great recognition for all colleagues who were involved in the construction of the new main building 'The Hub'. We are very proud of what our team has achieved. This award is the crown on the hard work of the past three years and gives us an extra boost for future projects."
NEW MAIN BUILDING
The Hub is a building of 13 000 m² and a sleek, bright and contemporary solution to the impending lack of space that TVH was experiencing because of its rapid growth. In its design, great attention was paid to comfort, ergonomics and efficiency. Numerous CO2 sensors, temperature sensors and controls, ensure a pleasant indoor climate, and the many sound-absorbing materials also contribute to comfort.
TVH EXPERIENCE CENTER
The pièce de resistance can be found on the ground floor of the new main building: the TVH Experience Center. This unique 1500 m² visitor centre primarily serves as a location to familiarise visitors with the offer, services, atmosphere and working method of TVH. Thanks to its interactive nature, the TVH Experience Center is much more than just a showroom. Visitors can play games and test their driving skills with a virtual lift truck in a warehouse, for example.
TVH won the award, surpassing six other companies with innovative buildings, such as BNP Paribas Fortis, Deskalot, EVS, Brussels Regional Public Service, Parc 51 and the University Hospital Sint-Lukas (UCL).
