PRESS RELEASE
Waregem, 25 September 2020
In order to keep growing as a company and seize opportunities in the Iberica market, TVH – global player in the field of parts for material handling, industrial and agricultural vehicles – has brought in Rafael Duyos as Regional Manager Iberica. Since 1 September, Rafael has been responsible for the Iberica region (Spain and Portugal), both for TVH and its subsidiary Bepco.
Rafael Duyos’ main challenge as a Regional Manager will be to give further direction to the corporate strategy for the Iberica market – part of TVH’s EMEA division – and make sure that TVH and Bepco work together in a smart and coherent way. He is supported by Javier Gonzalez (General Sales Manager Iberica) and Rafa Poveda (General Manager Bepco Iberica), who will continue their current responsibilities.
“Iberica is a market with significant growth potential for TVH and Bepco,” Kristof Bolle, Senior VP EMEA, elaborates. “Consequently, we want to expand our activities in the Iberica region for each of our four business lines – material handling, industrial equipment, agricultural equipment and light construction equipment – thus further growing as an important player in the field.”
Having worked for 10 years at Hune, a big rental company in Spain and Portugal, and recently also for the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF), Rafael Duyos offers a good amount of relevant experience. And he is up for a challenge: “I’m excited about our plans for Iberica as an independent region and profitable market, and I’m happy to get the opportunity to contribute to this expansion,” Rafael Duyos states.
He continues: “Indeed, we are expanding and making new investments, despite the many challenges that COVID-19 brings. Building on our customer-centric way of working, we are confident that we will emerge stronger from the coronavirus crisis.”
