How to handle Li-ion batteries?

Target group:

• Engineers who maintain and repair electrical machines equipped with Li-ion batteries.
• Engineers who perform diagnostics on electrical machines equipped with Li-ion batteries.

Prior knowledge:

• Prior knowledge of batteries and chargers is required.

Learning objectives & Content:

• The evolution of batteries.
• The road to Li-ion.
• Types of Li-ion batteries.
• Why LFP batteries and how are they composed?
• Why a Battery Management System and how does it work?
• What is State Of Charge?
• How are LFP batteries charged?
• Safety and Li-ion batteries.

Purpose of the training:

• Understand how Li-ion batteries work and how to use them. In addition, to know and avoid the dangers of Li-ion batteries.

Course duration and location

• One and a half hours, via Google Meet

Practical arrangements:

• We recommend having a Google account and using Google Chrome.
• Each participant must be registered, even if several people follow on one PC.
