In the early 1970s, Rieker Inc. was the right company at the right time for the construction market, with a solution to help operators identify safety limits for vertical tilt to prevent 'tip-overs'. Many OEMs applied the relatively inexpensive solution to their machines.
In the 1980s, Rieker Inc. once again developed a significant improvement for the construction industry with its Boom Angle Inclinator, to measure the angle of the lifting boom relative to the horizontal position.
