DOMINIEK VALCKE (CEO OF TVH) RECEIVES PRESTIGIOUS GULDEN SPOOR AWARD
On 11 July, Dominiek Valcke, CEO of parts specialist TVH in Waregem, was awarded the Gulden Spoor for Economic Élan (Gulden Spoor voor Economische Uitstraling). This prize is awarded annually by the Beweging Vlaanderen-Europa to recognise people or bodies that contribute to the economic development and élan of Flanders.
Dominiek received this award for his exceptional performance and dedication to the company TVH. "I'm honoured to receive this Gulden Spoor," says Dominiek. "I consider this an appreciation for the hard work and dedication of the entire TVH team." Dominiek is now added to the roll of honour and joins previous winners such as well-known entrepreneurs Fernand Huts (Katoen Natie), Wouter Torfs (Torfs), and Hans Bourlon and Gert Verhulst (Studio 100).
As CEO, Dominiek has grown TVH into a global player with 5000 employees in 81 branches across 27 countries. Under his visionary leadership, TVH has become the market leader in parts and accessories. His views, determination and focus on international expansion have contributed to the company's strong position.
INVESTMENTS IN THE REGION AND IN PEOPLE
The Gulden Spoor jury also appreciated TVH's regional anchoring. The company continues to invest in Waregem, stimulating growth and employment in West Flanders. Just last year, TVH opened its new main building The Hub, reinforcing its local anchoring.
The fact that TVH has created a corporate culture in which the well-being of employees is central, contributed to winning this prestigious award. Moreover, TVH's commitment to exercise, health and sustainability was also appreciated by the jury.
