Parts specialist TVH looks back on its participation in Voka Open Bedrijvendag with satisfaction. On Sunday 2 October, the company opened the doors of its main office in Waregem, as well as some of its other logistical warehouses. 4200 visitors got a look behind the scenes of the brand-new office building The Hub, the interactive TVH Experience Center and the new fully automated warehouses.
Friends and family of TVH employees were able to visit the parts specialist one day earlier. "That too was a big success, because on Saturday, we already received more than 4000 visitors", says Isabelle Van de Voorde, Internal Communications and Employee Experience Manager at TVH. "The fact that so many employees wanted to show their workspace to their friends and family, illustrates that we are a great place to work. Besides showing our new main office to the public, employer branding was also an important reason for TVH to participate. This way, the general public gets to know the company and its culture better. Given the 250 open vacancies, that is a big plus."
"We made the visit as interactive as possible. This allowed visitors to discover our new main office The Hub, which opened at the beginning of this year. This state-of-the-art building was designed with our employees in mind", explains Van de Voorde. "The building houses ergonomic office spaces, but also a modern company restaurant with a coffee bar and barista."
The showpiece of the main office, however, is the TVH Experience Center. Van de Voorde: "Thanks to its interactive features, it is so much more than just a large showroom. Visitors can play a game and test their driving skills with a virtual lift truck in a warehouse, for example." The TVH Experience Center is open all year round, so even after Open Bedrijvendag, organisations, customers, schools ... are welcome by appointment via [email protected].
TOUR OF THE LOGISTICAL HEART
That TVH is a modern and thriving company, is illustrated by TVH's growing logistical heart. On Open Bedrijvendag, the visitors were treated to an informative tour. "Especially for Open Bedrijvendag, the public was allowed a unique visit of the highest building of the business park. An unmissable opportunity to take a closer look at the fully automated warehouses and the logistics operations", says Van de Voorde.
