On Saturday 10 September, parts specialist TVH from Waregem, organised 'A September to Remember', a festival for its employees. For this, they set up an actual festival village with tents, two stages and several food corners. TVH pulled out all the stops to give its employees an evening to remember. "With this festival, we want to thank them for their daily efforts since corona", says Peter Geiregat, Chief People Officer at TVH.
"For our staff party this year, we chose to bring the festival atmosphere to our own premises", says Peter. "In the two large tents opposite the TVH buildings in Waregem, more than 2500 colleagues and their partners partied to the beats of Buscemi and Discobar Galaxie, among others."
Peter continues: "The past few years, our employees have worked hard in difficult circumstances and so they deserved this more than anything. It is part of our DNA to give them the recognition they deserve. We strongly believe in the work hard, play hard principle."
WAR FOR TALENT
In today's war for talent, the people-focused company culture at TVH makes all the difference. "I myself have now been employed at TVH for a year, and its culture is exceptional. Being people-centred is really about actions here, not just words. Our well-being programme Nudge is a perfect example of this", says Peter. "And this party also fits perfectly with our value 'Act with Joy'."
There are 250 vacancies at TVH. "To get those filled in, it is important to show that we really value our employees. Besides a two-yearly company party, we regularly organise other activities such as after-work drinks, teambuildings or sports activities." All vacancies at TVH can be found via www.werkenbijtvh.be.
