TVH WAREGEM START NU OOK TWEEPLOEGENSTELSEL OP

 

After introducing a permanent night shift, parts specialist TVH will also set up a two-shift system in their warehouse as of 1 October. The company does so to meet the continuously growing demand for spare parts. To this end, TVH is looking for some 50 additional employees.

TVH is a global player in the market of parts for material handling, industrial, construction and agricultural equipment. For the new two-shift system, the company is looking for, among other things, 25 additional logistics workers and 4 team leaders, with the aim of sending the parts to the customer on time. 
The introduction of two shifts in the logistics department also creates additional vacancies in the Automation team. Over the next few months, this will expand by as much as 50%. In particular, TVH is looking for 8 system administrators who will monitor the fully automated warehouse and act as the first point of contact in the event of a malfunction.

 

TWO-SHIFT SYSTEM

Kris Thermote (VP Logistics at TVH): "Excellent customer service is a top priority for us. Because of the growing demand for parts, we not only invest in new buildings and warehouses, but also in additional employees." 

The new shifts will work alternately from 6:00 to 14:00 and from 14:00 to 22:00, with the exception of the late shift on Fridays. That will start at 13:00 to have an overlapping team moment with the early shift. "The input of our employees in such team meetings is crucial", says Kris. "After all, they know the ins and outs of the workplace. Moreover, the late shift for colleagues on Fridays ends at 21:00, which is also beneficial for their work-life balance. Similar to the new night shift, TVH also provides these employees with a paid break of half an hour. No specific prior knowledge is required to fill these vacancies. TVH places strong emphasis on on-the-job training whereby the tricks of the trade are taught.

 

250 OPEN VACANCIES IN ALL DEPARTMENTS

TVH isn't just looking for colleagues for the logistics department; there are vacancies in all departments, including for managers and young potentials.
